Swedish domestic carrier Malmö Aviation goes live with Web Manuals

Malmö, Sweden, 21 January, 2015: Web Manuals Sweden AB, the developer of operational knowledge management solutions for the aviation industry, is proud to announce its latest regional airline client win after signing a deal to provide document management solutions to Swedish domestic carrier Malmö Aviation.

Malmö Aviation is a part of the Braathens Aviation group and operates scheduled domestic flights from Stockholm Bromma Airport to 12 destinations in Sweden, flying over 1.4 million passengers annually. Malmö Aviation operates a fleet of 12 AVRO RJ 100s and 85s as well as one SAAB 2000 aircraft.

Martin Lidgard, CEO and founder of Web Manuals, adds: “Being based in Malmö, it has always been one of our dreams to see Malmö Aviation as a client. After many years of discussions, and having provided the Web Manuals tool to the two sister companies of Malmö Aviation - Braathens Regional and Braathens Technical - the time has come to support Malmö Aviation in its goal to improve its operational documentation work. The timing could not have been better as the 12 companies in the Braathens Aviation group are now merging into a new consolidated and streamlined airline."

Web Manuals’ application allows the digitization and distribution of a wide range of operational and compliance documentation, yielding significant savings in time and administrative costs and improved regulatory compliance. The process simplifies the rapid authoring, review, publishing, distribution and control of an entire manuals library.

Web Manuals Sweden AB specializes in the development of operational knowledge management solutions for the aviation industry, including the digitizing of manuals to simplify controlled publication, revision and distribution.
