Martinair Cargo, the second member of the Air France KLM Group to select Web Manuals after regional airline KLM Cityhopper, is a specialized full freighter airline with its home base at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The company operates a fleet of three Boeing 747-400ERF and one Boeing 747-400BCF aircraft, with 20 worldwide network locations spanning Europe, Africa, the United States, Central and South America.

Martinair Use Web Manuals for Digitization, Authoring and Distribution

The airline will use Web Manuals’ technology for the digitization, authoring and distribution of its operational documentation, gaining savings in time and administrative costs as well as improved regulatory compliance and flight safety.

Martinair is Web Manuals’ second recent win in the air cargo sector, alongside Panama-based DHL Aero Expreso which became a customer in October.

André de Chauvigny de Blot, Manager Flight Technical Support at Martinair, says: “We selected Web Manuals following a comprehensive and competitive tender process. Our criteria for selection included know-how, customer focus, flexibility and proven track record in digitizing manuals for the aviation industry.”

“With Web Manuals, we are able to ensure continuous EASA compliancy which will result in easier audit preparations, easier audits and less aftercare/findings. In Web Manuals, we found a robust solution for the coming years.”

Web Manuals’ CEO and founder Martin Lidgard says: “With its busy Boeing 747 fleet and worldwide network, Martinair has faced complex and time-consuming challenges in maintaining its manuals library. We are proud to have been selected by the airline and look forward to bringing greater control, compliance and agility to its operations in 2017 and beyond.”
