Web Manuals GO DIGITAL Europe 2016 Conference

Latvian flag carrier airBaltic has scooped top honors at Web Manuals’ annual GO DIGITAL user conference in Ystad Saltsjöbad, Sweden.

As an industry leader in digital documentation and compliance management solutions, Web Manuals hosts the annual June conference to share insights and encourage innovation and collaboration among aviation operators. Speakers included executives from WOW air, AeroEx, and BMW Group.

The inaugural Web Manuals Awards celebrate best-in-class operators that have significantly grown and transformed using Web Manuals document management solutions. Customer of the Year 2016 went to airBaltic for its significant contributions to Web Manuals’ platform, while Partner of the Year was awarded to Swiss regulatory compliance experts AeroEx. Bluebird Cargo took home the award for Rising Star, given to the customer that implemented Web Manuals' application most impressively over the previous year.

Best Innovation was awarded to the most creative team during the GO DIGITAL Open Innovation Workshop, as voted on by conference participants. The awards were won by a team formed of several operators, including Maria Langevi and Peter Rusk from Swedish air traffic operator LFV, Karl De Galea representing Air Malta, and Klara Krisjansdottir from Icelandair.

Martin Lidgard, CEO and founder of Web Manuals, says: “We founded the Web Manuals Awards to recognise significant, ongoing innovation among operators who streamline compliance, often across multiple international regulatory codes, and we offer our sincere congratulations to the winners. Our customer feedback shows that agile compliance management exponentially increases business growth, allowing companies to concentrate on running successful, safe operations, instead of spending hours on paperwork.”

Lidgard explains: “Operators are facing a significant challenge to maintain up-to-date compliance manuals, which form an essential foundation of any aviation business. The winners of the Web Manuals awards have consistently demonstrated the benefits of maintaining compliance. From new customer Bluebird Cargo, to seasoned Web Manuals user airBaltic and high-profile AeroEx, staying on top of compliance equates to staying ahead of the competition in the fast-paced aviation industry.”

Web Manuals’ next GO DIGITAL Conference will be held in April 2017 once again at the beautiful seaside resort Ystad Saltsjöbad, near Web Manuals’ Malmö headquarters.
